Unexpected flowers!
It's been a busy week, so maybe this happened several days ago and I just didn't notice, but I came home to a pleasant flowering surprise on my deck this afternoon.
Here is my "Outback Sunset" lysimachia when I planted it on April 3
And here it is today. I knew it would flower, but I didn't realize it would be this soon, and I didn't realize the flowers would be such a vibrant yellow!
Yes, the leaves have lost some of their luster, but these flowers make it OK.
